NYU Langone’s Comprehensive Stroke Care Center is a leading center of its type in our region and offers a sophisticated rehabilitation program that includes care from a rehabilitation physician (known as a physiatrist), physical therapist, occupational therapist, specialized nurses, speech-language pathologists and psychologists. Other facilities like nursing homes may provide adequate rehabilitation services, but the point here is to maximize recovery.
U Care is yet another innovation in quality stroke care by the staff at the UofL Hospital, the first hospital designated as a comprehensive stroke center in Kentucky by the Joint Commission. (which was his same attitude in regards to the other facilities) almost a year later, he now considers Best Personal Care his home away from home! The staff is professional and genuine whose main focus is the client's well being. They are efficient in communicating with us while taking the necessary measures to establishing and adjusting our son's curriculum as he thrives.. We highly recommend BPCF to anyone faced with the difficult decision to place a loved one in someone else's care. Thank you Arnie and Angelina for all you do for our son. He is happy and making great strides and we finally have peace of mind.

Considered to be one of the best stroke rehabilitation centers in America, the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, also known as RIC, takes care of more patients who have suffered from strokes than most other hospitals in the entire country. The medical staff includes specialists in physical medicine and rehabilitative techniques who are renowned for their expertise. Some of the finest speech language pathologists will guide your loved one in relearning how to speak or swallow if necessary. RIC also offers some innovative technologies that are hard to find at other stroke centers. The robot-assisted walking therapy is one of these cutting-edge technologies; it uses robotic devices that are attached to the patient, helping him move his legs in a natural manner. Physical therapy is complemented by patient training, education, and support groups to maximize the treatment’s effectiveness.

Round the clock care provided a young female home health aide "APPLE". on her first day she appeared very caring and offered to adjust all my sister-in-laws medication. She stated that she was trained in medication, and gave us her phone number to keep us posted. On the third day she was texting myself and my wife all day while we were working. When i returned home i checked the medication as i always do, and noticed that 60 controlled pain medication was missing. When i called her to let her know she was terrified stating that her finger prints were all over every bottle but she didn't take them. When i called to complain they Round the Clock staff were rude and dismissing. I asked to speak to a supervisor they never returned my call. When i called back they just asked if i wanted someone else to come into my home, when i stated no, they became aggressively rude. I will never allow any home health agency into my home. They have ruined the experience for me. Unprofessional, and criminal rating for Round the clock.
